About Cape
Peel off the alter ego that hides your tech from the world
At CAPE we use strategic messaging and copywriting to help the world understand why your tech exists and why they should buy it from you.

At CAPE we use strategic messaging and copywriting to help the world understand why your tech exists and why they should buy it from you.

But you need *more* paying customers if your company’s going to keep growing.
Yet when your audiences look at you… they don’t understand you’re their hero.
Meaning? Meaning nurture cycles take weeks, months, even years.
Meaning your marketing budget runs dry every month, but you have too few sign-ups and closed deals to show for it.
Meaning sales says prospects aren’t biting because they simply don’t get what your tech is, what it does, or how it can help them.

At CAPE, we guide SaaS, tech, IT, and IoT companies through a diligent process that uncovers:
So your audiences immediately recognize, and understand, the awesome power of your tech.
And you can turn the attention you've earned into more sign-ups and closed-won deals.

Working with B2B tech companies for 8+ years, I found three things were consistent:
1 Brand messaging is usually too far removed from the real world, so that prospects fail to understand what your tech actually does.
2 Product messaging is usually hyper-focused on product capabilities, but fails to translate that into tangible benefits for prospects.
3 Conversion-focused copywriting is usually "optimized to death", totally stripped of brand voice and differentiation, which makes your product sound exactly like your competitors.
At CAPE we bridge the gaps between brand, product, and conversion copywriting.
Combining all three into messaging strategies and copywriting assets that earn your audience's attention and build emotional connections with your tech, long before they sit down for a demo.
So that acquiring more customers becomes ridiculously easy for you.

Messaging strategist. Conversion copywriter. With a double major in Anthropology and Sociology.
And I have to keep pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming.
Because nothing excites me more than the human impact of tech.
I am deeply honored that I get to meet so many inspiring founders and companies who are building better, faster, smarter worlds for all of us.

And there's only so much work I can do by myself. So I founded CAPE, and now have a tiny handful of top-of-their-game people working alongside me. (If you call 3 people a tiny handful.)
So, yes, CAPE is an agency. But not really.
What that means is when you work with us, you’ll never be handed off to an account manager or junior writer. You’ll only ever work with me. And your work will always have my fingerprints on it. But know that my awesome team is quietly helping out behind the scenes.
This also means we're limited to the number of clients we can help. So first come, first serve.

Go big or go home. You have to have a strong voice and strong messaging that commands attention if you want to make an impact on the world.
Wearing a cape signals to the world that you're a hero. And clear messaging and copy wrap your tech in a verbal cape that does the same.
Every word, every sentence counts. There is zero room for fluff, buzzwords, or hyperbole if your ultimate goal is to acquire more customers.
